Alice E. Volkmann

Alice E. Volkmann of Lakeland, Fla., formerly of Hartford, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2007 at the age of 82.

She was born June 3, 1924, the daughter of Michael and Rose (nee Michalski) Krenzelok.

Alice was a homemaker for over 30 years.

She enjoyed her doll collection and treasured her granddaughters.

Survivors include a brother, Richard (Jane) Krenzelok of Lake Havasu, Ariz.; a son, Harold (Sharon) Wittig of Lo De Marcos, Mexico; a daughter, Phyllis (Aldon) Samaha of Lakeland; two grandchildren, Ellie (David) Chavez of Milwaukee and Angela Owen of Lakeland; and seven great-grandchildren.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Walter Volkmann; two brothers, Edward and Albert Krenzelok; and two sisters, Bernice Dailey and Mary Bublitz.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 10, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Divine Savior Lutheran Church, 3200 Highway K South, Hartford, followed by funeral services at 1 p.m.

The Rev. Ricky Schroeder will officiate, and interment will be in Trinity Lutheran Church Ceme-tery, at 10729 W. Freistadt Road, Mequon.

Memorials to Divine Savior Lutheran Church or the charity of the donorís choice would be appreciated.
