Grace A. Lehner
Grace A. Lehner (nee Haldeman), of Hartford, passed away Monday, April 2, 2007 at the Aurora Medical Center in Hartford. She was 73 years old.
She was born June 23, 1933 in Ashippun to Rudolph and Minnie (nee Indermuehle) Haldeman. Grace married Norbert Lehner on Jan. 31, 1959 at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford.
Grace loved to bowl and play cards with her neighbors. Over her lifetime she was a baby sitter to many, many children. Grace also loved to listen to Elvis. She was a member of St. Kilian Church and the Daughters of Isabella.
Grace is survived by her five loving children, Peter (Teri) of Las Vegas, Pamela (Keith) Pirlot of West Allis, Paul (Deann) of Hubertus, Penny (Jeff) Ritger of Rubicon, and Peggy (John) Oldenburg of Hartford; 14 grandchildren, Ross, Trina, Keith Jr. (Christy), Amanda, Alexandra, Maxwell, Jarret, Joslyn, Morgan, Ashley, Sydney, Savannah and London; three sisters, Beverly (Ernie) Borchardt of Oconomowoc, Helen (Dale) Schrieber of Jackson, and Karen (Glenn) Blank of Slinger; a brother, Bob (Mary) Haldeman of Grafton; her aunt, Gertie Greener, of Hartford; and special friends of the family, Angie (Brett) Berger and Jennifer Cook of Hartford.
She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Norbert, her parents, and her brother, George Haldeman.
Memorial Services will be Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home, 824 Union St. (Highway 83 N), Hartford, with Fr. David LaPlante officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
