Robert John Williams

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. tomorrow evening for Robert John Williams of Thiensville at Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Mequon (6031 West Chapel Hill Road, corner of North Green Bay Road and West Highland Road). Robert passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at the age of 92. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., prior to the funeral service. Entombment will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 19, at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. (Please meet in the green parking area.) Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Services in Mequon are serving the family.

Robert was an active and contributing board member of the Ozaukee County Historical Society, known for many years as a blacksmith, artist and craftsman. He was also very active in Pioneer Village located in the town of Saukville. Robert and his (late) wife Eileen had donated the caboose to Pioneer Village.

Robert was the beloved husband of the late Eileen Emelea (nee Kordick) Williams; the loving father of Karen (Jeff) Hall and Roger (Mary) Williams; cherished grandfather of Sarah (James) Coe, Nathaniel Hall, Jesse (Jami) Williams and Margaret (John) Bellei; dear great-grandpa of Aleah; dear brother of Bernice (Dr. John) McKenney and the loving fiancˇ of Pat Teschner. He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
