Jude "Judy" Seaver (nee Moza) was born May 28, 1939 in Whitefish Bay, daughter of Paul and Leona "Lee" (nee Chero) Moza. She attended St. Monica’s School and graduated from Whitefish Bay High School in June of 1957. She went on to graduate from college where she earned a degree in cosmetology. During the 1960s, she was the co-owner of a beauty salon on 60th and Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee. She met and married John David Seaver of Wauwatosa and they moved to Grafton in 1965. She worked at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Grafton during the 1980s and ‘90s.

Judy enjoyed riding her motorcycle, snowmobiling, swimming, ice skating and playing basketball with her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to yard sales with her friends, sewing, remodeling her home, refinishing antique furniture, and playing cards, board games and puzzles with family. Judy was actively involved in the Christian prison ministry during the 1980s. She was a devout Catholic and longtime member of St. Joseph’s parish in Grafton.

Judy was a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. She always put the needs and happiness of others before her own. Judy had a gentle and loving spirit that touched the lives of everyone she had ever met.

During her many years of illness, Judy strived to live life to the fullest, unselfishly trying her best to not be a burden to others. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and for her love of her family. Judy will be greatly missed by all who knew her and her memory will be honored as we love one another, as she has loved us. Judy will live in our hearts forever.

Jude is the devoted mother of John David Jr. of Livermore, Ky., Jill Ann of Grafton, Jody Lee of Caledonia and Jay Alan of Grafton. She is the loving grandmother of Stephanie Marie, John David III, Shawna Trease, Sonja "Alisa," Jason Philip, Stevie Lee, Shanyn Lynee, Justin Michael, Jesse Brian, Jonathon Timothy, Shara Lynne, Jordan Aurthur and Shayla Amber; the cherished sister of Nancy Ann (John) Burden of Pensacola, Fla. and Paul "Terry" (Alice) of Wausakee; the treasured aunt of Angela Burden of Perdido Bay, Pensacola, Fla. and formerly of Cedarburg; and the future great-grandmother of Kaleb, who is due to be born on May 28, 2007.
