Raymond "Ray" Decker Jr.

Raymond "Ray" Decker Jr., a resident of Green Valley, Ariz. for the last seven years, formerly of Cedarburg, passed away at the age of 71 on Wednesday, March 21, 2007.

Ray was born on May 4, 1935. He graduated from Port Washington High School and worked for Port Washington Power Plant for 37 years.

Ray’s interests were gardening, swimming and canning dill pickles. He also enjoyed tinkering with his 1940s cars during his younger years and had a love for nature.

Ray is survived by his wife of 48 years, Diane; sister Helen (Bill) Sauer of Pennsylvania; children Randall (Jodi) Decker of Minnesota, Joell (Scott) Decker of Oconto Falls, Wendy Decker (Stuart) Franzen of Saukville; grandchildren Alexican, Justin, Nicholas, Joshua and Arthur; and his great-grandchild Rainin.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Olga and Raymond Decker Sr.; his brother Richard Decker; daughter Ann Marie Decker; and granddaughter Machaela Decker (Meverden).
