Irene S. Clark

Irene S. Clark (nee Witczak), 84, of West Bend went home to the Lord Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph’s Hospital in West Bend.

Born to John and Louise (nee Matecka) Witczak on Feb. 19, 1923 in Poznan, Poland,

Irene entered the United States with her parents at the age of 5, settling in Milwaukee.

Irene married William L. Clark on July 25, 1942 where they raised their two children.

She had a passion for knitting scarves, mittens and afghans for family and friends. Irene was an avid Green Bay Packers fan!

Irene is survived by two children, Paul (Roberta) Clark, West Bend, and Janice (Steve) Faul, Arizona; six grandchildren Kristin Clark, Melissa, Bryant, Shaun, Stephanie and Nathan Voigt; as well as nine great-grandchildren; one brother, George (Carol) Witczak; one sister-in-law, Mary Clark and one brother-in-law, Eugene Clark. Irene is further survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, William L. Clark, and her brother, James (Marlene) Witczak.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28, at 10:30 a.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, WI 53095, with Father Jerry Brittain officiating.

Friends and family may visit from 9 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Burial to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Milwaukee.
