Arnold "Pat" Margelofsky
Arnold "Pat" Margelofsky, 92, of Mayville, died Monday, July 23, 2007 after a brief stay at the Mayville Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Mayville. He was born Oct. 18, 1914 to William and Helen (nee Lehman) Margelofsky in the town of Rubicon. On March 27, 1943, he was united in marriage with Irene Buerger in the town of Granville. Pat was a milk hauler and retired town of Herman farmer. He was a member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Woodland member and captain of the Iron Ridge Fire Department, and a member of the town of Herman board. Pat also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, LuAnn (Frank) Johnson of Della Vista, Ariz., Dianne (James) Qualmann of Horicon, Mary Ann (David) Roecker of Mayville and Susan (Raymond) Erickson of Mayville; sisters and brothers, Hazel Kunz of Neosho, Pearl Hathway of Beaver Dam and Virgil (Eileen) Margelofsky of Brookfield; one sister-in-law and longtime companion, Marcella Buerger of Mayville; one brother-in-law, Elmer Buerger of Woodland; lifelong friend, Carl Mueller of Iron Ridge; 11 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Lucille; second wife, Irene in 1987; an infant son; and three brothers and four sisters.
The funeral service for Pat was Friday, July 27, 2007 at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Woodland, with Rev. John Bonow officiating. Burial was at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was Thursday and Friday at Koepsell Funeral Home in Mayville.
