Samuel A. Santilli
Samuel A. Santilli (Machajewski), 16, of Tampa, Fla. passed away July 24, 2007. Samuel resided in Benbrook and attended Westpark Elementary from 1999-2001. Sam was a student at Hillsborough High School, class of 2009, where he was a member of the HHS "Big Red" Marching Band and played on the varsity soccer team. He was a member of the HC United Killer Rabbits soccer team and employed at Regal Citrus park 20 at Citrus Park Town Center Mall. Sam was a gift from God; he was pure of heart and our sunshine on a rainy day. He gave his love and help to everyone and had many friends. Many lives have been touched by his love. He played with passion for the game and his teammates. He had just received his driverís license and was looking forward to driving his new truck to HHS his junior year. He will be sadly missed by all who have been touched by his love.
He is survived by his mother, Maureen (Daley) Machajewski; stepfather, Mark of Benbrook, Texas; his father, Anthony Santilli of Tampa; sister, Jaclynn Santilli of College Station, Texas; brother, Daniel Machajewski of Benbrook; grandmother, Gladys Daley of Hartford; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service for Samuel will be Thursday, Aug. 9, 2007 at 6 p.m. at The Ridge Community Church, 9301 Winscott Rd., Benbrook, Texas. A benefit account has been established at First Bank of Benbrook in the name of Maureen Machajewski.
A celebration in honor of Sammyís life will be announced at a later date.
