Norma Butt

Funeral services will be held for Norma Butt (nee Kringel) of Saukville at at 6 p.m. today, Aug. 14, at First Immanuel Lutheran Church, W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd., in Cedarburg.

Norma went home to eternal life on Friday, Aug. 10, 2007 at the age of 87.

In state today at the church from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., prior to the service.

Interment will take place at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Cemetery in the town of Jackson.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Norma was born in the town of Jackson on Feb. 7, 1920, daughter of the late Frank and Ida (nee Heckendorf) Kringel.

In 1941, Norma married Hugo Butt. They resided in Cedarburg, but mostly in Saukville for over 33 years.

Norma loved to travel when she could. Some of her favorite places included Israel, Egypt and Hawaii.

She worked at Doerr Electric in Cedarburg for some 25 years.

Norma is survived by her loving children Roger (Betty) Butt of Saukville, Laverne (Charles) Fravel of Neenah and Robert (Carol) Butt of Grafton; her grandchildren Christopher (Julie Ohlsen) Butt, Lisa Fravel, Cynthia Butt, Jennifer Fravel and Christy Butt; her great-grandchild Allison Ohlsen; her siblings Hertha Kasten, Mildred Peters, Lorraine Butt, Anita (Donald) Franzen and Franklin (Nancy) Kringel; and her brothers- and sisters-in-law Mildred Kringel, Anita Kringel, Carol Kringel, Arno Jobs, Gertrude Mixdorf, Margaret Butt, Lucille Matter and Violet Bares. Norma is further survived by nieces, neph-ews, other relatives and many friends.

Norma was preceded in death by her husband Hugo; her brothers Ruben, Gerhard and Marvin Kringel; and her sister Edna Jobs. She was also preceded in death by her brothers- and sisters-in-law Edgar Kasten, Marvin Peters, Elvin Butt, Orinda (Edwin) Rusch, Milton Butt, Harry Mixdorf, Otto Butt Jr., Elvin Butt, Elroy Matter and Walter Bares.
