Walter Frank Wiedmeyer
Walter Frank Wiedmeyer, 62, departed suddenly on Friday, Aug. 17, 2007, as a result of a fatal truck accident.
He was born May 20, 1945, in Theresa to Harold and Florence (Nee Steger) Wiedmeyer.
Wally married Nancy Lorenz on Sept. 18, 1965 at St. Peter and Paul Church in Nenno and had resided in Theresa for the past 32 years.
He was a member of Jesus Our Shepherd Parish in Nenno.
Wally drove for Eugene Kon-rath’s Bus Service for many years and hauled milk for Eugene to Sealtest Foods, Slinger Creamery and Grande Cheese.
In 1976 Wally went into business for himself with Grande Cheese, and in 2001 he converted his milk trucks to gravel trucks.
He was a past member of the Theresa Fire Department and the Theresa Lions Club.
Wally is survived by his wife, Nancy; three daughters, Cath-erine, Julie (Richard) of Fond du Lac and Connie (Joshua) of Ashe-ville, N.C.; and two sons, Nathan of Theresa and Ryan (Nicole) of Hustisford; an adopted son, Jerry Biggart of Racine; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Abigail, Caleb, Joseph, Kyah, Taylor and Sophia; a step-grandchild, Jennifer; six brothers, Jim, (Marie), Kenny (Rayola), Fred (Diana), Larry (Mary), Marty (Peggy) and Leon (Jean); four sisters, Pat (Wally) Kubicek, Phyllis (Stan) Puls, Shirley (Jerry) Konrath and Debbie (Frank) Mazza; a brother-in-law, Lester "Buddy" Lorenz Jr.; and his parents, Harold and Florence Wiedmeyer.
Preceding him in death were a brother, Andrew; a brother-in-law, Gregory Lorenz; his parents-in-law, Lester and Wilma Lorenz; and two nephews, Brad Wied-meyer and Brandon Lorenz.
A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Rev. Frank Baiocchi officiating.
Friends and family may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 p.m. until the time of services at 6:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The Family Resource Center of Fond du Lac, or to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organizations.
