Virginia L Wegner
Virginia L Wegner, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at the Cedar Lake Health and Rehabilitation Center in the town of West Bend.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1922 in Mayville to Edwin H. Koepsell and Martha H. Koepsell (nee Quandt).
On May 19, 1945, she was united in marriage to Henry A. Wegner in Mayville.
Her parents and husband preceded her in death.
Wegner was a graduate of Mayville High School (class of 1940) and of the Dodge County Teacherís College. She was a former elementary school teacher.
She is survived by her children, Janet (Don) Grundemann of Larson, Wis., Margaret Mahoney of Oshkosh, Frederick (Paula) Wegner of Madison and Charles Wegner of Oshkosh. She is further survived four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Rosemary (Ted) Faber, Dr. John (Sally) Koepsell of Rockford, Ill. and Charles (LaVerne) Koepsell of Mayville. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Bend.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, with the Rev. John Paustian and the Rev. Brian Hennig presiding.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, Dec. 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville.
