Chris Ledgerwood, 45, of Rubicon passed away on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at his residence with his family at his side.
He was born Jan. 16, 1962 in Escanaba, Mich. to Vernon and Eileen (nee Carlson) Ledger-wood, and married Deb-orah Hafemeister on Aug. 7, 1999 in Waukesha.
Chris worked for Triangle Tool in Milwaukee for 17 years.
He enjoyed fishing and working on small en-gines, and hosted the annual lawn tractor pull in Rubicon which generated a fun time for all involved.
Chris loved his family and friends deeply and enjoyed being with them as much as possible.
He is survived by his wife Debbie; a stepdaughter, Amanda Spang of Texas; a grandchild, Jayce Weiss; his sister, Jolene (Eugene) Purtell of Hartford; and his brothers-in-law Scott Hafe-meister of Richfield and Kevin Hafemeister of Sheboygan.
He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Roger; a sister, Sandra; and a niece, Lori Ledgerwood.
Memorial funeral services for Chris will be held on Friday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home in Hart-ford, with Rev. Robert Kirchman officiating.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Research Clinic in Slinger are appreciated.
