Alice Mueller, nee Heilman, 97, of Hartford, formerly of Neosho, went peacefully on Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at the Hartford Care Center.
Alice was born to Oscar and Mary (nee Hoefs) Heilman on Jan. 13, 1910 in Antigo, and married Herbert Mueller on Feb. 27, 1932 in Naso, Ill.
Alice loved cooking, canning, needlepoint and crocheting. She was an excellent seamstress.
Alice enjoyed watching her favorite soaps on TV and reading her favorite novels. She had a button collection that she accumulated throughout the years.
She was the family photographer. Even at the age of 95, she put together a personalized photo album for each of her children.
Survivors include her loving children, Daniel (Diane) of Maribel, Wis., Wayne of Waukesha, Judy Rienert of Iola, Bonnie Ihlenfeld of West Bend, Kathleen (Bill) Sackett of New-burg, Patricia (Jim) Hamilton of Hartford, Genevieve (Phil) Hutchison of Michigan, Herbert (Charlotte) of Hartford, Alice Schatz (Steve Nielson) of Neosho, Stuart (Beth) of Hartford, Joanie (John) Lulich of Allenton and Jeanie (Barry) Lawson of Ken-tucky; 32 grandchildren; 44 great grand-children; and 10 great great grandchildren.
Alice is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; two sons-in-law, Allan Rienert and Bob Schatz; and a daughter-in-law, Lorraine Mueller.
Funeral services for Alice will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. at Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford with Rev. Robert Kirchman officiating.
Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 3 to 7 p.m.
Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Hartford Wednes-day at 10 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for distribution are appreciated.
