Dale W. "Bear" Corrigan

Funeral services will be held for Dale W. "Bear" Corrigan of Cedarburg at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 13, at Faith Lutheran Church in Cedarburg.

Bear died at his residence in Cedarburg on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at the age of 55.

The Rev. John Norquist will officiate the funeral service.

Visitation will be held at the church this evening, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Bear was born on Dec. 27, 1951 in Milwaukee, son of Walter D. and LaVerne (nee Lutz) Corrigan.

He attended the UW-Madison and went on to work for Pioneer Container in Cedarburg. He re-tired after working there for over 30 years.

Bear was a member of the Wisconsin Tavern Association.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, but his true love was music. Bear played the rhythm guitar and sang lead vocals for the Ozaukee County Jam Band.

Bear is survived by his brother Bruce (Gail) Corrigan of Cedarburg; and his nieces Christy and Carla Corrigan of Cedarburg. He is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

Bear was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister Lucille Corrigan.
