Jean Lillian Schrank

Jean Lillian Schrank (nee Sarbacker) of Cedarburg was called home to God on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at Cedar Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center in Cedarburg, at the age of 76.

A memorial service will be held for Jean at 1 p.m. on Dec. 15 at Grace Lutheran Church, 715 Sixth Ave., in Grafton.

Family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, from 11 a.m. until time of service.

The Rev. Paul Bulgerin will officiate the funeral service and a time for fellowship will follow.

Jean will be cremated and a graveside service will be held in the spring of 2008 at Silver Lake Cemetery in Portage.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Jean was born in Portage on Oct. 16, 1931, daughter of Harold and Edith Sarbacker.

On Aug. 6, 1955, she was united in marriage to Dennis Schrank at the United Methodist Church in Portage.

Jean taught first grade in Neenah for two years, at Grand Avenue School in Thiensville for 10 years and at Wilson School in Mequon until her retirement in 1995.

Jean is survived by her husband Dennis; her niece Jackie (Jim) Stowell of Pardee-ville; her nephews Joseph Louis Masnaghetti III of Cedarburg and H. Thomas (Ellen) Masnaghetti of Sparta, N.J.; and her brothers-in-law James Harold (Lucille) Schrank of Stevens Point and David (Madeline) Schrank of Mineral Wells, Texas. She is further survived by great-nieces, great-neph-ews, other near relatives, friends and godchildren.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents Edith and Harold Sarbacker; and her sisters Elenore Masnaghetti, and Corrine and Edith Sarbacker.

Memorials are appreciated and may be given to the ALS Association, the Methodist Church in Portage, Grace Lutheran Church in Grafton, St. Johnís Lutheran Church in Dancy or to a memorial of your choice.
