Howard "Howie" Leroy Schumacher
Howard "Howie" Leroy Schumacher, 56, went to his eternal resting place on Friday, Dec. 14, 2007.
He was born Oct. 26, 1951 to Arnold and Ethel Schumacher.
He attended St. Johnís Parochial School and graduated from West Bend High school in West Bend in 1970.
He married Debra Conley on April 22, 1972 and they had two beautiful daughters, Heather and Heidi.
Howie had numerous jobs, including greenskeeper at West Bend Country Club, working construction, Dairyland seed, farming, roughneck and then started into his own business in residential remodeling.
He moved his family out to Wyoming in 1978 where he resided until the time of his death.
His love for hunting, fishing, and trapping brought him to the wide open spaces of Wyoming.
Howie doted on his two daughters who were his number one love and concern.
He is survived by his two daughters, Heather of Casper Wyo., and Heidi (Trent) of Gillette, Wyo.; his mother, Ethel of West Bend; two sisters, Caroline (Richard) Reich of Allenton and Charlotte (Fred) Legate of West Bend; and one brother, Arnie of West Bend.
He is also survived by nieces; nephews; aunts and uncles; good friends, Jim and Kathy Konen, Tom Hinz and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Arnold.
Visitation will be Wed-nesday, Dec. 19, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Newcomer Family Funeral Home in Casper.
A memorial service will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Casper at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 20.
A memorial service will be held in West Bend after the holidays.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to Special Olympics, Nowcap and ARC.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home, Casper, is in charge of arrangements.
