Florence B. Wollner

Florence B. Wollner, nee Bruendl, 92, of West Bend, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at the Samaritan Health Center.

She was born April 7, 1914 in Port Washington to the late John and Mary (nee Hanson) Bruendl and married Victor N. Wollner on May 22, 1934 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Newburg.

Victor passed away on Nov. 5, 1988.

After their marriage, Victor and Florence settled in West Bend where she worked at Amity Leather Products.

Following their retirement, the couple moved to Florida where they lived until Victor’s death.

Florence then moved back to West Bend to be near her family.

Florence was a member of the Christian Mothers at St. Frances Cabrini Church and was the past president of her union at Amity Leather Products.

Survivors include her daughter, Vicki (John) Prodoehl of West Bend and a grandson, Eric.

She is further survived by a brother, Alvin (Angeline) Bruen-dl of West Bend; a sister, Lorraine Zimdars of West Bend; two sisters-in-law, Angel Bruendl of West Bend and Ann Bruendl of Las Vegas, Nev.; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were a son, Donald, in infancy; two brothers, Viol Bruendl and George Bruendl; three brothers-in-law, Herbert Wollner, Art Wollner and Earl Zimdars; and a sister-in-law, Eleanor Schmitt.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 6 p.m. at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, West Bend, with Rev. Jeffrey Haines presiding.

Entombment will take place Thursday in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Visitation will be Wednesday at the church only from 4 until 5:45 p.m.

Masses or memorials to the charity of the donor’s choice are appreciated.

The Schmidt Funeral Home, West Bend, is serving the family.
