Rochelle Ann LeSage
Rochelle Ann (nee Peneau) LeSage of Hartford, surrounded by her loving family, passed away Friday, Feb. 16, 2007 at the age of 47 years.
She was born Jan. 3, 1960 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Leon and Nancy (nee Thoms) Peneau. She married Dennis LeSage on July 28, 1978 in Milwaukee.
Rochelle was one of the founding members of the Woodland Fire Department Auxiliary.
She loved the outdoors and was a great cook.
She was very strong and courageous in fighting her disease. Rochelle was a loving aunt and will be deeply missed by her niece and nephews. She was a very creative writer who wrote a column for the Mayville News and Northwest Post in Milwaukee.
Rochelle is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children, Jason of Hartford and Matthew of Slinger; her parents, Leon and Nancy Peneau; her brother and sisters, Joyce (Tony Shabazz) Peneau of Virginia, Nick (Katherine) Peneau of Hartford, and Lorraine (Kevin) LeSage of Fredonia; her niece, Jessica Weisen of New York; her nephews, Nathan and Jeremy LeSage of Fredonia; brother-in-law, Al (Sue) LeSage of Wauwatosa; aunts and uncles, Ronald (Shirley) Thoms, Betty Peneau and Marvin Haesle; and her honorary uncle and aunt, Don and Joyce Nordness. She is further survived by many cousins and good friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 from 4-7 p.m. at Berndt-Ledesma Funeral Home in Hartford and again on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007 beginning at 10 a.m. at Divine Savior Ev. Lutheran Church.
The funeral service will follow visitation at the church at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.
A luncheon will follow the service.
Interment will be at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater.
