Funeral services will be held for Orrin Koehn of Conover at 11 a.m. on Feb. 27 at the Pioneer Lake Lutheran Church in Conover. Orrin died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007 at the Lillian E. Kerr Nursing Home in Phelps. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at the church, prior to the funeral service. The Gaffney-Busha Funeral Home in Eagle River is making the arrangements.
Orrin was born on Nov. 16, 1925 in Cedarburg, son of Louis and Louise Koehn. On Aug. 2, 1949 he married Dorothy Asp in Port Washington. Orrin worked and retired from Russell T. Gilman in Grafton after many years of service. He enjoyed woodworking and doing yardwork.
Orrin served in the U.S. Army during World War II under General Patton in the Third Army. He was a member of the American Legion in Grafton.
Orrin is survived by his wife of 57 years Dorothy of Conover; his son Tom (Kathy) of Denver, Colo.; his sister Helen Larson of Cedarburg; and his grandchildren Jeffery and Kimberly. He is further survived by two great-grandchildren.
Orrin was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Louise; his brother Harold; and his sister-in-law Violet.
