Ralph W. Peters

Ralph W. Peters, 74, went home peacefully in his sleep to be with the Lord on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007.

He was born in West Bend on Feb. 23, 1933 to Alexius and Veronica (nee Schladweiler) Peters, and was raised on the family farm.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Ralph was a small engine repairman at Tri Par for many years, and retired from Lorence Mfg. in Newburg.

His favorite pastimes included snowmobiling, fishing and going out to dinner with his fiancÚ.

He is survived by his fiance and best friend, Jean Beimborn of West Bend; seven siblings, Gerald (Bethana) Peters of Rubicon, Donna (Glen) Becker of Cedarburg, Marietta (Richard) Guenther of Freeport, Ill., and Beatrice (Robert) Boldt, Loretta Justman, Alan (Rita) Peters and Leon (Cynthia) Peters, all of West Bend; and two sisters-in-law, Eleanore and Christine Peters.

He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other special relatives and many dear friends.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Vernon and Linus; and his brother-in-law, Henry Justman.

A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Newburg, with Father Guy Gurath officiating.

Interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, immediately following the funeral Mass.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on at the church only on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral Mass at 1 p.m.
