Carol Ann (Siebers) Schroeder
Carol Ann (Siebers) Schroeder, 64, passed away suddenly on Friday, Feb. 23, 2007.
She was born in Little Chute, to George Siebers and Alvina (Jansen Siebers) Neller.
Carol graduated from the University of Wis-consin-Madison and touched innumerable lives as a teacher in West Bend.
She was a pioneer in the field of teenage parenting education; co-authored a groundbreaking book to help at-risk teenagers; and won multiple awards for her contributions in education.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles of Verona; a son, William of St. Pete Beach, Fla.; a daughter, Sara (Brent) Kimbel of Verona; two beloved grandsons, David and Alex Kimbel; her mother; a sister, Barbara (Michael) Linder of Grays Lake, Ill.; Babaraís children, Lisa (Michael) Zimmer and Greg (Mary) John-son; a lifelong friend, Sharron Cavert; and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceeded in death by her father; a brother, George; and a niece, Staci.
There will be a private celebration of Carolís life for family and friends on Saturday, March 24, from 1 to 3 p.m. at The West Side Club, 437 Highway M, Madison, 608-833-6355.
