Marjorie G. Becker
Marjorie G. Becker, nee Gerhardt, a longtime resident of Silver Lake in West Bend, entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2007 at Kathy Hospice, town of Polk, after 77 years of life.
Marjorie was born in Milwau-kee on June 30, 1929, the daughter of John J. and Evelyn C. (nee Radke) Gerhardt.
She was raised in the Hartford area, and later moved to Silver Lake in West Bend, where her own family was raised.
Among her favorite pastimes, Marjorie loved being in the outdoors, whether she was gardening, taking her much-enjoyed scenic walks, or simply enjoying life living on Silver Lake.
She also had a great passion for jewelry, and dedicated her time working in jewelry sales.
Above all, Marjorie loved the times she was able to spend with her cherished family.
She was a past member of the TOPS Club.
Marjorie will be deeply missed and forever loved by her children, Valen (Lois) Becker of West Bend, Terry (Paul) Becker of Sheboy-gan and Jackie (Gary) Wilde of West Bend; her grandchildren, Sherry, Alex, Kevin and Kaitlyn; and her great-grandson, Brendan.
She was the special Nana to Denise and Joe, and their children, Molly and Josh, and Debbi and Mike, and their children, Becky, Chad and Cody.
Marjorie will also be missed by her brothers, William Gerhardt of Jackson and Robert Gerhardt of Phoenix, Ariz.; nieces; nephews; other special relatives and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, Sonny, Bernard, Anthony and an infant.
A memorial service in honor of Marjorie will be held on Friday, March 2, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Rev. James Hill officiating.
Visitation with family and friends will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend, followed by inurnment in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
