Gerald J. "Jerry" Sell

Gerald J. "Jerry" Sell, age 34, of Beaver Dam, died Jan. 3, 2006, in Beaver Dam.

Gerald James Sell was born Sept. 1, 1972 at McDill Air Force Base in Tampa, Fla. to James R. and Diane M. (Schindel) Sell.

Following graduation from Horicon High School in 1990, he worked for Finlay Industries for several years.

Jerry than went to work for Wagner’s Wheel and Caster in Hustisford and while working there, he attended Moraine Park Technical College in West Bend.

Once he received his journeyman’s card for tool and die, Jerry went to work for Apache Stainless Steel in Beaver Dam. He most recently was working for River City Heating and Air Conditioning in Watertown.

Jerry loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, four-wheeling, and going up north to his land in Gleason.

Survivors include his parents, James and Diane Sell of Beaver Dam; three brothers, Jeff (Erin) Sell of Columbus, Jason Sell of Beaver Dam and Joseph (Sarah) Sell of Beaver Dam; good friend and companion, Debra Staiduhar of Mayville; two nephews and a niece, Zach and Ryan Sell and Jeraldine Sell; his best friend, Bruce Christian of Tomahawk; and aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends also survive.

Jerry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Alice Schindel Sr. and Wilbert and Helen Sell.

Visitation for friends and family was Sunday, Jan. 7, 2007 at Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam and Monday, Jan. 8, 2007.

The funeral service was Monday at the funeral home following visitation, with Rev. Mark Swanson officiating.

Burial followed at St. Malachy Cemetery in Horicon.
