Mary E. Guell

Funeral services for Mary E. Guell (nee Emory) of Mequon will be held at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18 at Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville.# Mary was born to eternal life on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006 at the age of 64. Visitation will be held on Jan. 18 at the funeral home, from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., prior to the service. At rest at Pinelawn Memorial Park in Milwaukee.

Mary graduated from Dominican High School in Milwaukee. While attending college, Mary was a model for many highly recognized national products. She appeared in newspaper ads, on billboards and in Life Magazine. She enjoyed horseback riding and competed in several state events. She loved to travel and enjoyed learning about Wisconsin history and seeking out local sites. Annually, she would vacation in the Northwoods with the entire extended family - fishing, swimming and reading. She traveled to Maui, Hawaii, several times, marveling at the beautiful sunsets, rainbows and humpback whales. She loved to cook and was famous for her crab apple jelly. Mary was a former employee of Laacke and Joys and spent most of her career as a retail manager of the Mequon store. She always enjoyed interacting and interfacing with her many clients.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Bruce Guell; dear mother of Steve (Diane) Guell; loving grandmother of Heather A. Guell; dear daughter of Lorraine Emory; fond sister-in-law of Sandy (Roger) Stuckmann and Lowe Ann Emory; loving aunt of Amy (Michael) Wichert, Scott (Julie) Stuckmann and Cindy (Kirk) Thompson; loving great-aunt of Bailey, Ella, Sofia, Sydney and Madison. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her father Sherman Emory; and brothers Paige and David.
