Beatrice "Bede" Helen Kluth

Funeral services for Beatrice "Bede" Helen Kluth were held on Jan. 10 at St. Martin Lutheran Church in Clintonville. Bede joined Jesus on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007. Visitation was held at the church prior to the funeral service.

Beatrice "Bede" Helen Kluth was born on Jan. 10, 1914 in Green Bay, daughter of Arthur and Marie (nee Werner) Zuiches. She married Glenn W. Kluth in 1936. She graduated from the Rural Normal School in Outagamie County and from UW-Stevens Point. Bede resumed her teaching career in 1942 and retired in 1974.

Active in her community, she was a member of the Wisconsin Retired Educators, the Waupaca County Retired Educators and other civic organizations.

Bede is survived by her daughter Carol Ann (Leon) Schneider of Grafton; her son Dale (June) Kluth of Clintonville; grandsons Dan (Jessica) Kluth of Kimberly, Idaho, Steve (Tammy) Kluth of Clintonville, Paul Schneider of Grafton, Joel (Jena) Schneider of Fredonia and Neil (Linda) Schneider of Charleston, S.C.; granddaughter Shari (Vernon) Gerth of Pleasant Prairie; great-grandchildren Jordan and Kaylyn Gerth, Danica and Janessa Kluth, Cody, Connor and Colton Kluth, Nicholas Schneider, Dexter, Clay, Bianca, Grant and Asia Schneider, Ashley, Hayley and Brennen Schneider and Brittany Nellis; and great-great-grandchild Xavier Schneider. She is further survived by her sister Catherine (Francis) Beckman of Appleton; her brother Arthur (Pat) Zuiches of Shiocton; sister-in-law Betty Zuiches of Tualiton, Ore.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Bede was preceded to her heavenly home by her husband Glenn Kluth; her infant son Gene Paul; her sister Gladys and husband Walter Stern; her brother William Zuiches; sister-in-law Florence and husband Ray Nagreen and sister-in-law Mildred and husband Ronald Baker.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials.
