Wayne George Endlich Sr.
Wayne George Endlich Sr., 69, of Tigerton, formerly of West Bend, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.
Wayne was born May 24, 1937 in Menomonee Falls to Chester and Adeline (Wienke) Endlich.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1955-58.
Wayne was united in marriage on Jan. 5, 1958 to Maxine Kastner at David Star Lutheran Church of Jackson.
He started as a welder in 1958 with the Gehl Co. in West Bend, and in 1997 he was promoted to weld shop supervisor.
Wayne worked for Gehl Co. for 42 years, retiring in 2000.
He moved up north and settled in rural Tigerton in July of 2005.
He enjoyed automobiles, especially any kind of racing.
Survivors include two sons, Wayne (Claudia) Endlich Jr. of Germany and Tim (Mary) Endlich of Kohlsville, and a special friend, Maxine Williams of Tigerton.
There are three stepchildren, Sheri (Bill) Edming of Plainfield, Valerie (Ed) Schlichting of Colorado and Jeannine (Sean) McMahon of West Bend; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four sisters, Mary (Dennis) Reichert of West Bend, Joan Caulfield of De Pere, Linda (Joe) Bilgo of Jackson and Debra (Dar-ryl) Dorough of Okla-homa; and two brothers, Kenneth (Joyce) Endlich of West Bend and John (Chris) Groth of West Bend.
He is further survived by a sister-in-law, Janet (Wayne) Arndt of Tiger-ton; nieces; nephews; many other relatives and friends.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Renee; and a brother, Chester "Chet" Endlich.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
