Doris E. DeHorn

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church (303 Green Bay Road) in Thiensville for Doris E. (nee Brown) DeHorn of Thiensville. Doris was born to eternal life on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2007. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., prior to the funeral service. Interment will take place at Immanuel Cemetery in Cedarburg. The Schramka-Densow Funeral Home in Thiensville is serving the family.

Doris was born on April 5, 1913 in the town of Matteson in Waupaca County to the late Ira and Bertha (nee Honish) Brown. She graduated from White Lake High School and Langlade County Normal. On Aug. 21, 1936, Doris married 1st Lt. Ronald E. DeHorn in Trout Lake, Mich.

Doris is survived by her daughter Renee Bitoun of Washington, D.C.; son John DeHorn of Danville, Calif.; sister Lucille Alft of Little Chute; grandchildren Paul (Sara) DeHorn of San Ramon, Calif., David (Heather) DeHorn of Long Beach, Calif., and Dr. Andrea (Adam) Sutherland of Ashton, Md.; and her great-grandchildren Chloe and Lela Sutherland, Russell and Markus DeHorn and James and Emma DeHorn. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
