Dorothy was united in marriage to Andrew Roman Breit on Oct. 22, 1949. They began their union in the city of West Bend on Madison Avenue, but soon realized there was more of life to be discovered on an idyllic farm in Kewaskum; this is where they farmed beef cattle, hogs and crops.
They raised eight children, and Dorothy was a devoted wife and very loving, caring and giving mother. She always put everyone first, never herself.
She will always be remembered as a loving wife and mother of eight with a heart of gold.
Dorothy and Andrew were divorced on Jan. 9, 1997, but Dorothy still held Andrew close to her heart.
Dorothy is survived by her former husband, Andrew Breit of Kewaskum; their eight children, Patricia (Roger) Brace of New Fane, Robert (Mary) Breit of Campbellsport, Glorianna (Jer-ome) Dahm of West Bend, An-drew (Alice) Breit Jr. of Cascade, Cecilia (Jeffery) Waala of Kewas-kum, Randall (Victory) Breit of Campbellsport, Sheila Dachs of West Bend and Brenda (fiancˇe Steven Pawlak) Breit of Muskego; 13 grandchildren, Steven Breit, Aaron Breit, Jamie (Missi) Dahm, Jeremy (Jacki) Dahm, Kenneth Breit, Nicholas Breit, Jeffery Waala, Nicole Waala, Jesse (Jes-sica) Breit, Shawn Breit, Adam Breit, Charles Dachs Jr. and Carri Jo Dachs; and two great-grandchildren, Kiersten Dahm and Dacoda Waala.
She is further survived by a brother, Earl (Bernice) Kertscher; two sisters, Forence Pietschmann and Marcella (Rudy) Stadler; and many other relatives and friends.
