Celeste I. Kuehl
Celeste I. Kuehl, 88, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center of West Bend.
She was born on Dec. 19, 1918 in the town of Kewaskum, the daughter of the late Louis and Olga (Rheingans) Foerster, and on Sept. 21, 1940, she was united in marriage to Marvin Kuehl at Salem United Church of Christ in the town of Wayne.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin, of 66 years; her daughter, Elaine (Kenneth) Schmidt of Richfield; four grandchildren, Doug (Jen) Schmidt, Debbie (Paul) Fait, Daryl (Bren-da) Schmidt and Diann Schmidt; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Katya, Keegan, Lexi, Emily and Justin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys, on Aug. 13, 1953; two brothers, Roman and Louis Foerster; and three sisters, Mar-jorie Janssen, Evelyn Wiesner and Ruth Mittag.
The funeral service for Celeste will be held at noon on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at the Phillip Funeral Home, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Pastor Dan Schultz and Rev. Donald Koehn officiating.
Burial will follow in Salem UCC, town of Wayne.
Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednes-day from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
