Edward A. "Eddie" Hoerchner

Edward A. "Eddie" Hoerchner, 52, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2007 at his home in Kewaskum

He was born to Allen and Gladys (nee Vogel) Hoerchner at St. Alphon-sus Hospital in Port Washington, on Jan. 22, 1955.

Eddie was raised in the town of Jackson and graduated from West Bend East High School in 1974.

He made his living by farming and doing masonry work in the Jackson and West Bend areas.

Eddie loved spending his time hunting, playing softball, racing and especially spending time with his adored grandchildren.

He was married to Peggy (nee Kruepke), having three darling children with her.

Eddie was a proud partner of No. 60 Hoerchner Racing team.

He will be deeply missed and forever loved by his three cherished children, Dawn (Patrick) Prescott, Carrie (Antonio Ovalle) and Jeffrey Hoerchner (Lynnette Schwartz), all of West Bend; his dear siblings, John Hoerchner of Kewaskum, James (Sheri) Hoerchner and Judith (Gilbert) Luebbe, both of Cedarburg, Janice (Paul) Filber of West Bend and Mark Hoerchner of Jackson; his treasured grandchildren, Jada, Nolan, Josephine, Diego, Joaquin and Oliver; and his loving parents, Allen and Gladys Hoerchner.

He will also be missed by many nieces, nep-hews, other special relatives and many dear friends.

Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, godparents, aunts and uncles.

A funeral service to honor Eddie will be held on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, with Pastor Paul Mittermaier officiating.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2 p.m.

Interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, on Monday at noon.

Memorials are appreciated, in lieu of flowers.

The Hoerchner family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Gary Herdrich and his staff of nursing professionals for the compassion and care they offered to Eddie throughout this time.
