Michael S. Buchel

Michael S. Buchel, 39, of Kewaskum, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007, from injuries received in a motorcycle accident.

He was born on July 17, 1967, in West Bend, the son of Ralph and Sue (Classey) Buchel, and on April 27, 1996, he was united in marriage to Bridget Wagner at Christ Lutheran Church in Jackson.

Michael was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott, and was employed by Weasler Engineering as a CNC machinist since 1998.

He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children.

He was a loving husband, father and son who will be deeply missed by his wife, his family and by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife, Bridget; four children, Daniel, Erika, Nicholas and Ryan; his parents, Ralph and Sue Buchel of Beechwood; his sister, Patti (Dion) Degnitz of Random Lake; his parents-in-law, Charles and Pat Wagner of Kewaskum; his sisters-in-law, Tammy (David) Gloyd and Kelly Wagner, both of West Bend; his nieces and nephews, Derek Degnitz (fiancˇe, Jamie Saw-itzke), Dustin Degnitz, David, Ethan and Catherine Gloyd, Emily, Elizabeth and Noah Wagner; his aunts and uncles, Ferd (Jacqueline) Buchel of Beechwood, Jerry (Diane) Buchel of Waukesha and Ruth Classey of West Bend; many cousins; other relatives and numerous friends.

Michael was preceded in death by a sister, Laurie Buchel; his maternal grandparents, Howard and Rose Classey; his paternal grandparents, Ferdinand and Ruth Buchel; his uncle, Thomas Classey; and his aunt, Dolores Buchel.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the town of Scott.

Rev. Mark Wilkens will officiate at a private funeral service and burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.

The Miller Funeral Home in Kewaskum is serving the family.
