Erwin "Shorty" Trapp
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on July 13, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church, 716 Sixth Ave., Grafton, for Erwin "Shorty" Trapp.
Visitation will be held tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Rev. Thomas Hintz will officiate at the funeral service.
Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.
Erwin Trapp was born on June 4, 1913, in Milwaukee, to the late Jacob and the late Maria (nee Folk) Trapp.
He married Helen Bretschneider, and after her death, married Charlotte Anderson.
Erwin was a lifelong resident of Grafton. He was employed as a supervisor for Mercury Marine at Cedarburg Plant No. 1 and retired after 35 years.
Survivors include children, Melvin (Janet) and Roger (Jayne); son-in-law Al Dickmann; stepchildren Dennis (Linda) Steinke and Charlene (Antonio Jr.) Coronado; special friend Dorothy Steinke; grandchildren, Mike Trapp, Jeff Trapp, Tammy (Mike) Si-mon, Pam (Ken) Heller, Steve (Mary Beth) Trapp, Don (Candy) Trapp, Shellie Anderson and Robert Dickmann; stepgrandchildren: Heather (Stephen) Scheuer, Michelle Micale, Elissa Coronado, Cristina Coronado, Jeffrey Hoevker, Joel (Lisa) Hoevker and Cody (Amber) Kargus; great-grandchildren, Mike Trapp Jr., Mark Trapp, Nicci Anderson, Russell Anderson, Brett Simon, Benjamin Si-mon, Nicole Simon, Alex Simon, Maggie Trapp, Ryan Trapp, Lucas Trapp, Cole Trapp, Katie Trapp, Natalie Heller and Sarah Heller; step-great-grandchildren, Isaiah Scheuer, Benjamin Scheuer, Elsiana Scheuer, Stephanie Micale, Jacob Hoevker, Emily Hoevker, Kaylin Kargus, Autumn Kargus and Nicole Kargus; many other relatives and friends.
Erwin was preceded in death by his daughter Judy Dickmann; foster parents Melvin and Clara Saueressig; three brothers; three sisters and two step-great-grandchildren Noah Scheuer and Ethan Hoevker.
