Virginia Weston

Virginia Weston, nee Seidel, 82, entered through the gates of Heaven on Monday, July 16, 2007.

Virginia was born on June 6, 1925, to Lawrence and Anna Seidel in Milwaukee, and married James W. Weston on Nov. 25, 1954 at St. Agnes Church in Milwaukee.

They lovingly raised their five children, moving to the West Bend area in 1974.

Her husband predeceased her on Jan. 10, 1997.

She worked many years for the electric company.

Virginia was also employed in retail merchandising at both Campbell’s Department Store and Shopko in West Bend.

She will be missed by her five children, James R. (Bonnie) Weston, Virginia "Ginny Ann" (Jim) Maziarka, Nancy (Pat) Rogers, all of West Bend, Larry (Lorey) Weston of Kewaskum and Mary (Dr. Kent) Schaefer of Hartford.

She was the loving grandmother of Jennifer (P.J.) Weber of Cedar Grove, Robert (Rhonda) LeMay, Eric Weston, and Kristen, Michael and Kelly Maziarka, all of West Bend. She was the great-grandma to Jeremy Cook (LeMay) and Paris LeMay of West Bend, and Madelyn Weber of Cedar Grove.

She is further survived by her sister, Mary Corfeld of Milwau-kee; and her brother, Milton (Katherine) Seidel of Silver Spring, Md.

Preceding her in death were her husband; her parents; her mother and father-in-law, Arnold R. and Adela H. Weston; as well as her sister-in-law, Nancy J. Wes-ton.

Virginia enjoyed her time as a volunteer, working for the school lunch program at St. Frances Cabrini.

She was fond of her time with friends at the local "Young at Heart" gatherings and was a long-time member of St. Frances Cabrini Parish.

She led a quiet and gentle life. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her joy.

Visitation will be held at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, 1025 S. Seventh Ave, West Bend, on Thursday, July 19, from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m.

A private burial will take place in Washington County Memorial Park in West Bend.

The Phillip Funeral Homes and Paradise Cremation Ser-vices, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, is assisting the family.
