Norman O.E. Schuette

Funeral services will be held for Norman O.E. Schuette at 3 p.m. this afternoon, July 26, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Graf-ton.

Norman died on Sunday, July 22, 2007 in Suring, at the age of 86.

The Rev. Larry Prahl will officiate the funeral service. A military detail will be held at the church following the service.

Interment will take place at the Community Lutheran Cemetery in Freedom.

Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg is serving the family.

Norman was born on Oct. 28, 1920 in Kiel, son of the late Walter and Edna Schuette.

He later married the love of his life, Gladys Uhlenbrauck, and their marriage was blessed with six children.

Norman worked as a pattern maker for the Tecumseh Company.

A veteran, Norman served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was also a member of the Rose-Harms American Legion Post in Grafton.

Norman is survived by his wife Gladys (nee Uhlenbrauck) Schuette; children Neal (Debra) Schuette, Nancy (David) Hischke, Dale (Lori) Schuette, Gary (Terri) Schuette, Bob (Rachel) Schuette and David (Wendy) Schuette; grandchildren Jason, Jared, Trenton, Rochelle, Robin (fiancˇ’ Joe Malek), Luke, Jessica, Andrew, Brad, Jaren, Christopher, Sean, Nicholas, Brianna, Nicholas and Benjamin; great-grandson Logan; and brother Raymond (Helen) Schuette. Norman is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
