Jeremy J. Jeranek

Jeremy J. Jeranek, 24, of Hartford, passed away after a tragic motorcycle accident on Sunday, June 10, 2007.

Jeremy was born on Aug. 8, 1982, the son of Richard R. Jeranek Jr. and Yvonne L. "Ivy" (nee Soyk) Jeranek in West Bend, where he also spent part of his childhood. He was also raised in the Oshkosh area.

Jeremy attended Kewaskum High School and earned his GED in 2000. He later attended Wisconsin Challenge Academy where he was a proud member of the color guard and the was the best boot polisher they had.

His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, riding and working on motorcycles, working on cars and Tae Kwon Do.

Jeremy also had a large fascination with NASCAR and country music.

He was a dedicated farmer for Strupp Dairy Farms, which was also one of his passions.

Jeremy will be deeply missed and kept forever in the hearts of his father, Richard Jeranek Jr. (fianceŽ Tracy Preschat); his mother, Yvonne "Ivy" Jeranek; two loving sisters, Alicia and Sierra Jeranek; and his cherished son, Chase.

He will also be deeply missed by his paternal grandparents, Richard Sr. and Mary Jeranek; his aunts and uncles, Ty (Amy) Jeranek, Sean Jeranek, Vanessa (Doug) Strupp, David (Barbara) Soyk, Marlene Soyk, Randy (Connie) Soyk, Calvin (Mary) Soyk, Brenda "Bre" Soyk, Lois Lucious (fiance Tim Harris); other special relatives and many close friends.

Jeremy was greeted at the gates of heaven by his maternal grandparents, Almon and Lor-raine Soyk.

A funeral service in memory of Jeremy will be held on Thursday, June 14, at 7 p.m. at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7 p.m.

Interment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend, at 2 p.m. on Friday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated at this time.
