Marie F. Sauer
Marie F. Sauer, 63, of Campbellsport passed away on Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at All About Life Rehab Center.
She was born on March 3, 1944 in West Bend, the daughter og Joseph and Eunice (Klein) Cartus, and on Sept. 25, 1971, she married Dave J. Sauer at Holy Angels in West Bend.
Marie worked in the office at West Bend Transit for 39 years.
She was a member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, the VFW Post 8339 Auxiliary serving as president, American Legion Post 347 Auxiliary, AVA Chapter 448 serving as liaison officer and Women of Moose Chapter 732 in West Bend.
She was also the SHARE Program coordinator for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband, Dave; her son, Robert of Campbellsport; her sisters, Jos-ephine (Norman) Belhing of Hartford and Kathy (Ron) Schlefke of Wisconsin Rapids; her brother-in-law, Dan (Sue) Sauer of Allenton; her sister-in-law Shirley (Lester) Simon of Campbellsport; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a nephew, Scott Schlefke; and a niece, Jessica Abnet.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, June 18, at 7 p.m. at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church, Campbellsport.
Rev. Neil Zinthefer will officiate and burial will be Tuesday in St. Kilian Cemetery, St. Kilian.
Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. until time of Mass at the church.
The Twohig Funeral Home, Campbellsport, is serving the family.
