Shirley Marie Biertzer
Shirley Marie Biertzer, nee Rose, 76, entered into heavenly peace Saturday, June 23, 2007 at Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa.
She was born to Erwin and Marie (nee Neuy) Rose on March 12, 1931 in Kewaskum.
Shirley retired from Wesbar Stamping Corp. after 30 years of dedicated service.
In her spare time she loved fishing and hunting and was an avid bingo player.
Shirley raised three loving children in the West Bend area.
Later she loved spending time with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Survivors include three children, Michael (Sheila) of Brownsville; Cynthia (fiance Randy) of Brownsville and Robert (Laurie) of West Bend; five grandchildren, Tonya, Derec, Robbie, Matthew and Stephanie; and nine great-grandchildren.
Shirley is also survived by five brothers and a sister, Richard (Bernice), Erwin "Jack" (Mary Ann), Arthur (Jane), Pat, Ken and Roger; a brother-in-law, Donald Biertzer; nieces; nephews; other relatives and special friends.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; her previous husband, Merlin "Blackie;" brothers and a sister, Virginia, Robert and Donald; and two sisters-in-law, Dorothy and Sheila.
A funeral service in honor of Shirley will take place on Wednesday, June 27, at 7 p.m. with Father Mike Moran officiating.
Friends may visit with the family at the Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, on Wednesday, from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m.
Cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services, West Bend.
