Robert O. "Bob" Bonlender
Robert O. "Bob" Bonlender, 77, of Kewaskum passed away on Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Harbor Haven Nursing Home in Fond du Lac.
He was born on June 3, 1930, in St. Kilian, the son of the late Ervin and Margaret (Heisler) Bonlender, Sr., and on July 30, 1955, he was united in marriage to Doris Bruessel at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum.
Bob was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. He served his country in the Army from 1952 to 1954 and was employed at Honeck Chevrolet dealership in Ke-waskum for 35 years before retiring in 1996. Bob was an avid golfer and loved spending time at the farm.
Survivors include his wife, Doris; three brothers, Leo Bonlender and Ervin Bonlender both of Kewaskum, and Joseph (Louise) Bonlender of St. Kilian; two sisters, Florence Plagemann of Horicon and Fern (Karl) Ryan of Eden; a brother-in-law, Andrew Bonlender of St. Kilian; four sisters-in-law, Janice Thill of Ke-waskum, Lavilla (Peter) Lache of Stillwater, Okla., Carol Ann (Dennis) Weiss of West Bend and Audrey Siers of Orlando, Fla., nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Bonlender; a sister, Margaret Bonlender; a sister-in-law, Betty Bonlender and three brothers-in-law, Jacob Bruessel, Allen Thill and Donald Plagemann.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Bob will be held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2007 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Kewaskum. Father Edwin Kornath will officiate and burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday in the parish cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call at the church on Sunday from 3 p.m. until the time of services.
