Cecelia J. Komp

Cecelia J. Komp, nee Multhauf, 90, of Mayville formerly of Hart-ford passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2007 at Mayville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, in Mayville.

Cecelia was born Aug. 31, 1916 in the town of Rubicon to Fred and Veronica (nee Schmidt) Multhauf, and married Urban Komp on May 30, 1936 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church in Neosho.

Cecelia was a member of St. Kilian Catholic Church, the Hartford Senior Friends and the Daughters of Isabella.

She had loved camping, dominos, bowling and baking.

She was a hard-working and very loving mom, grandma and great-grandma.

Cecelia is survived by her five daughters, Mary Komp of Mayville, Donna (Leroy) Infalt of Hartford, Judy Fetzer of Hustisford, Darlene (Charles) Langenecker of Hartford and Lou Ann (John) Schlink of Neosho; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Esther Multhauf of Mayville.

She is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Urban; a brother, Herbert Mult-hauf; and a great-grandchild, Casey.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. at St. Kilian Catholic Church in Hartford, with Father David LaPlante officiating.

Family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford before the procession to St. Kilian for the 7 p.m. Mass.

Interment will take place at St. John Catholic Cemetery in Rubi-con.
