Patricia Ann "Pat" Yanick

Patricia Ann "Pat" Yanick of Milwaukee and Hendersonville, N.C., was Born to Eternal Life Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 at age 71.

She was born March 17, 1935 in Milwaukee, the devoted daughter of the late LeRoy and Eva (nee Abel) Walsh.

Pat belonged to the Wisconsin Polka Boosters, the Milwaukee Accordian Club, the Greyhound Retreads Retirees Club, and the former Hartford Historic Preservation Committee.

She was a member of St. Johnís Catholic Church in Rubicon and the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist in Milwaukee.

She was a 1953 graduate of Hartford Union High School, a long time volunteer for Interfaith and Project Involve of Greater Milwaukee, former member of the Historic Preservation Committee for the City of Hartford.

Although she never attended college, Pat held a masterís degree and a PhD in compassion.

Patís constant prayer was found in Luke 9:38, "Lord, I implore you to look at my son. He is my only child."

Worldís greatest mother and best friend of Steven Yanick. Dear sister of Barbara (Ronald) Jacklin of Slinger. Dear sister-in-law of Ludella Walsh of West Bend. Dear niece of Willard (Blanche) Meyers and Norman Meyers, all of Seattle, and Evelyn Walsh of Hartford. Special friend of the Ewald Schwulst Sr. family.

She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Walsh.

Blessing of the grave will be followed by Mass on Saturday, March 17, 2007 at 8 p.m. (Patís 72nd birthday) at St. John Catholic Church in Rubicon with His Excellency, the Most Reverend Timothy M. Dolan, archbishop of Milwaukee, as celebrant.
