Henry E. Rosenow Jr.

Henry E. Rosenow Jr., 85, of Oconomowoc died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Neosho.

He was born May 13, 1921 to Henry Sr. and Christine (nee Hendricksen) Rosenow.

On June 4, 1944 he was united in marriage with Dorothy Huebner in Oconomowoc.

Henry farmed in the town of Oconomowoc all his life.

Henry was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison Agricultural Short Course.

He was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, a former member of the Oconomowoc Rotary Club, former member of the board of directors of Chase Bank, former board member and president of the Milwaukee Milk Producers Association.

He was also a former board member and treasurer of the Waukesha County Holstein Breeders Association, former board member of the Dairymenís Association, former board member of the Waukesha County Farm Bureau, an active member and vice president of Waukesha Mutual Insurance Co. and he was active on the Shorehaven Lutheran home board.

He is survived by his children, Sally Rosenow-Quick and Ken (Sue) Rosenow, both of the town of Oconomowoc; grandchildren, Nancy and Scott Quick and Chad and Michael Rosenow; special friend, Bona Dea Becker of Neosho; and other relatives and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dorothy.

The funeral service for Henry will be Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Paulís Ev. Lutheran Church, 210 Pleasant St., Oconomowoc, with Revs. Paul Borgman and Ronald Krug officiating.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 15, 2007 from 4-8 p.m. at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 Summit Ave (Highway 67), Oconomowoc and at the church on Friday from 10-11 a.m.

Burial will be at LaBelle Cemetery in Oconomowoc.

Memorials suggested to Lutheran Homes of Oconomowoc, St. Paulís Lutheran Church, Grain Foundation or Oconomowoc Scholarship Fund.
