Raymond H. Boehlke
Raymond H. Boehlke of the town of Cedarburg entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at Columbia St. Maryís Hospital in Mequon, at the age of 68. Funeral services for Raymond were held on March 9 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Slinger. The Rev. James Castillo and the Rev. David Cooper officiated the funeral service. Family greeted relatives and friends on March 9 at the church, prior to the funeral service. Interment took place on March 10 at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield. Shimon Funeral Home in Hartford served the family.
Raymond was born Oct. 19, 1938 in Stevens Point to the late Raymond E. and Augusta (nee Davidson) Boehlke. On Feb. 14, 1981, Raymond married Darlene Gierach in Mequon.
Ray loved helping other people. He was a true friend to all who knew him. Ray was active in his church, St. Paulís in Slinger. He loved nature, gardening and kept his yard immaculate; he also collected cars and clocks. He was devoted to and loved his wife, children, grandchildren and his dachshunds.
Ray is survived by his loving wife and constant companion Darlene; his cherished daughter Roberta (Tony) Kowaleski of Cedarburg; his son and best friend Ray "Cork" and beloved daughter-in-law Holly Boehlke of Germantown; his daughters Jean Stark of Grafton and Jodi Harris; his thirteen grandchildren; and his sister Lorraine Fuchs of Indiana.
Raymond is further survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ray was preceded in death by his grandson Justin Boehlke; brother Richard Boehlke; son-in-law Edward Stark; and brother-in-law Terry Fuchs.
