Anita L. Luedtke
Anita L. Luedtke, 89, passed away on Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at Cedar Lake Health Care Center, town of West Bend.
She was born on March 22, 1917 in the town of Herman to the late Robert and Clara Luedtke (nee Schaeffer), and was raised on the family farm.
After graduating from eighth grade, Anita moved to West Bend to reside with her sister, Marcella.
Anita was employed by Enger Kress and the West Bend Co.
She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, copper tooling and above all, being there to help family.
Anita will be deeply missed by her nieces, Jean Hoefs of Milwaukee and Elaine Siegfried of Appleton; special nephews, Bill (Joan) Meyer, Leonard Meyer, Roger (Pat) Meyer and Leroy (Markie) Meyer; great-nieces, Donna Palmer of Milwaukee, Ann (Ray) Gevelinger of Neenah, Mary (Jeff) Olson of Stevens Point and Julie (Todd) Boivin of Shawano; great-great-nephews and nieces, Andrea, Adam, Nathan, Katie, Dan and Sam; and a great-great-great-nephew, Tyler.
Anita was more like a second grandmother than an aunt.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Viola Benedum, Goldie Meyer and Marcella Siegfried; a nephew, Robert; and a niece, Shirley Meyer.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, at 11 a.m. at The Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, 1420 W. Paradise Drive, West Bend, and cremation will take place at Paradise Cremation Services.
Visitation with family and friends will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to Cedar Lake Health Care Center.
