Ralph "Fossil" Miller

A funeral service will be held on Thursday May 3, 2007, at 7 p.m. at the Mueller Funeral Home in Cedarburg, for Ralph "Fossil" Miller. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 4 to 7 p.m. Rev. Bill Ronzheimer will officiate the funeral service.

Ralph A. Miller was born on July 13, 1937 in Port Washington to the late Joseph Miller and Dorothy Krause.

Ralph loved his outdoors, especially hunting and fishing with his sons and grandkids. In fact, he was more than willing to wet a line or sit a stump with just about anyone who was willing or brave enough to do so.

Ralph, or "Fossil" as he was affectionately known as, loved to go camping and enjoyed the company of family and friends at J&S Rivers Bend Resort.

Ralph retired from Mercury Marine where he worked loyally for over 30 years.

After retiring, Ralph began working at Advanced Cast Stone Recycling and operated a mower at Fireridge Golf Course.

During any spare time, Ralph loved to sit and watch TV with his best buddy "Happy," his cat, or collect things, as he was such a packrat (his family really thanks him for that).

Ralph is survived by his wife Suzanne (Wolf); his sons, Ralph Jr. (Lori) and Marshal (friend Julie) of Beaver Dam. He is also survived by his brother, Joe (Jane) Miller of West Bend; and grandchildren Steven, James, Samantha, Brittany and Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Michelle Miller, his parents, brother Lester (Doreen) Miller and sister Patricia Kelsow.

The Mueller Funeral Home, W63 N527 Hanover Ave., Cedarburg, is assisting the family, 262-377-0380.
