Marie M. Graber, 93

Marie M. Graber, nee Wolf, formerly Bauer, 93, of West Bend died on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Samaritan Health Center.

She was born on Aug. 7, 1913 in the town of Addison to the late Paul and Annie (nee Wenninger) Wolf.

In 1931, Marie moved to West Bend and worked at the West Bend Company for a number of years.

On Nov. 27, 1935, she was united in marriage to Alex Bauer at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Alex predeceased May 3, 1965.

In 1953, she became employed at the former General Clinic, retiring in 1991.

On Aug. 2, 1974, Marie married Donald "Blackie" Graber at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Blackie predeceased Sept. 13, 2006.

She was a member and past president of the Fred A. Schaefer Post 1393 VFW Auxiliary, a member and past adjutant of the Clarence Beltmann Chapter of American Ex-Prisoners Of War, a member of the Lt. Ray Dickop Post 36 American Legion Auxil-iary, the St. Joseph’s Comunity Hospital Auxiliary and was a volunteer for more than 15 years at the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medi-cal Center in Milwaukee.

Survivors include one daughter, Anne (Bob) Bell of The Villages, Fla.; two granddaughters, Michelle (Richard) Ferraro and Cherryl (Gary) Hendricks, both of Florida; four great-grandchildren, Sean, Ian, Nicholas and Adam; one sister, Esther Vrana of Kewaskum; nieces, nephews, oth-er relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Clara Kahl and Martha "Pat" Laufer; three brothers, Edmund Wolf, Leo Wolf and Clarence Wolf; three brothers-in-law, Herb Kahl, Carl "Red" Laufer and Joseph Vrana; and three sisters-in-law, Marie Wolf, Esther Wolf and Irene Wolf.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday in Holy Angels Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the church only on Wednesday from 4 until 6:45 p.m.
