Millard J. "Jack" Tonsor III

Millard J. "Jack" Tonsor III of Slinger was welcomed home by the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2007, after 60 full years of life.

Jack was born on March 21, 1947, the son of Millard J., II, and Gladys B. (nee Rieckhoff) Tonsor, in Milwaukee.

He attended and graduated from Whitnall High School, with the class of 1965; and furthered his education at Spencerian College with a bachelors of business management degree.

Jack was a proud third-generation electrician of Tonsor Electric and owner of J.T. Electric.

In his free time, he most enjoyed being with his family and friends, and snowmobiling. Jack was a member of the Ackerville Snowmobile Club.

He will remain forever in the hearts of his cherished children, M.J. Tonsor IV, of Hartford, Laura (Bo) Beaudoin of Pewaukee and Tom (Deb) Merkel of Filmore; his three treasured grandchildren, Maija, Danielle and Zachariah; his sister, Elinore Tonsor of Oak Creek; brother, Bruce (Annette) Tonsor of Slinger; his nieces and nephews, Julie (Brian) Schmitz, Bill (Christy) Tonsor, Cody Tonsor and Amanda Tonsor; his aunt and Godmother, Bernice Bolender; aunt, Barbara Marshal; former wife, Cherie Tonsor; and dearest friends, Pam and Bob Boesch.

He will also be missed by other very special relatives and many dear friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, and his uncle, Lyle.

A funeral service in honor of Jack was Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Phillip Funeral Home Chapel, West Bend. Visitation was on Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Cremation took place at Paradise Cremation Services of West Bend.

Should family and friends desire, contributions may be made to the family at this time, in lieu of flowers.

Phillip Funeral Home in West Bend assisted the family.
