Jerome A. Wagner
Jerome A. Wagner Ret. MSgt-SAC of Grafton formerly of Waukesha, died peacefully on Saturday May 12, at the age of 80 years.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, May 17, at 5 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 1619 Washington St. Grafton. Instate at the church on Thursday from 2:30 p.m. until time of Mass. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha.
He was born in Milwaukee on Dec. 26, 1926 to the late George and Phyllis (nee Herrmann) and married Betty J. (nee Glembin) on April 15, 1955 in Milwaukee.
He was a member and active volunteer in the American Legion and VFW Post’s in Grafton, Boy Scout Scout Master Troop 9 Waukesha, MACBA Boat Club, Red Cross Volunteer Driver, Rods & Relics, EEA Oshkosh, VA Medical Driver, Holy Name Knights of Columbus, Grafton Senior Center and ECON-O-Liner Club.
He is survived by his wife Betty of Cedarburg; children Jay (Judy) of Oconomowoc, Michael (Ginny) of Waukesha, Laura (Mark) Bruederle of Cedarburg and Paul (Heather Rowe) of New York City, N.Y.; grandchildren Danny, Hannah, Kiersten, Jacob, David, Linnea, Katie, Abbie and Allie; brother Clem (Nancy) Wagner of Milwaukee; sister Doris (Bill) Baab of Peyton, Colo.; stepsisters Joan (the late David) Rauch of Milwaukee and Marlyn (Richard) Berg of Pewaukee; stepbrother Jerome A. (Theresa) Tracey of South Milwaukee.
He is further survived by other relatives and friends.
