Esther M. Vrana

Esther M. Vrana (nee Wolf), 88, of West Bend, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007 at Kettle Moraine Gardens in Kewaskum.

She was born April 9, 1919 in Nenno to the late Paul and Anna (nee Wenninger) Wolf and married Joseph Vrana on June 21, 1941 at Holy Angels Church in West Bend.

Joe preceded her in death on April 29, 1997.

Esther and Joe owned and operated Vrana Frame and Body Shop for many years. She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening and doing things the old-fashioned way. She was a hard working and ambitious lady and also a woman of strong faith.

She was a member of the Fred A. Schaefer Post #1393 V.F.W. Auxiliary and Holy Angels Catholic Church for many years.

Survivors include her seven children, Joe of West Bend, Mike of West Bend, Tim (Mary) of Kewaskum, Terry of West Bend, Mary (Richard) Wietor of Kewaskum, Sr. Jean Mary S.S.N.D. of Elm Grove and Betsy (Alan) Bruendl of Kewaskum; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Esther is futher survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe, her parents, three brothers and three sisters.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007 at 7 p.m. at Holy Angels Catholic Church in West Bend with Rev. Gerald Brittain presiding.

Visitation will be Tuesday, at the church, from 4 to 6:45 p.m. Burial will be Wednesday in Holy Angels Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, masses or memorials to Holy Angels Church or the charity of the donorís choice are appreciated.
