Roberta A. "Bobbie" Tracey
Roberta A. "Bobbie" Tracey, 68, of Menominee, Mich. passed away Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at home following a long illness.
The daughter of the late Robert and Bernie (Donahue) Rhodes was born Feb. 27, 1939 in Eau Claire. Bobbie graduated with the class of 1957 from Coleman High School.
She was married to Kenneth J. Tracey on July 6, 1957 at the former St. John Catholic Church, Coleman. They lived in Milwaukee until moving to Port Washington in 1962. They also resided in Newburg and West Bend before moving to Menominee, Mich. in 1989.
Bobbie was a very caring person and was always concerned about others. She was an avid Packer fan and loved being with family and friends.
Ken preceded her in death on June 9, 2007.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Birch Creek, Mich.
Surviving are her three children; Mike (Jane) Tracey of Sturgeon Bay, Mark (Gerrie Ann) Tracey and Jodi (Curt) Vorpahl both of West Bend; one sister, Bonnie (Tom) Whitman of Menominee, Mich., one brother, Dan Rhodes of Coleman; six grandchildren; Dr. Michael (Darci) Tracey, California; Ken (Brianna) Tracey of Minn. and their mother, Bonny (Roger) Dosdall of Hagar City, Wis.; Mitchell and Jenna Tracey and Tony and Lauren Vorpahl all of West Bend; two great-grandchildren; Maya and Addison Tracey; four step-grandchildren; Jill, Dan (Courtney), Jenni Kuehn; and Jodi (Brad) Charles; one step-great-grandchild, Peyton Kuehn; one brother-in-law, Ronnie (Jane) Tracey of Gleason, Wis.; two sisters-in-law; Donna Gifford of Greenfield and Eileen Williams of West Allis; an uncle, William (Bev) Rhodes of Waupaca; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law; Mike Gifford, Jim Williams, and Dennis Tuma.
Friends may call at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 with a Parish Vigil Service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2007. Rev. Joseph Kakooza-Nnyanzi will officiate with burial in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman.
Pallbearers will be Dr. Michael, Kenneth, and Mitchell Tracey; Tom Whitman, Brad Rhodes, and Brad Charapata.
