Delores V. "Dolly" Austin

Delores V. "Dolly" Austin, nee Kocher, 80, of West Bend died Friday, Nov. 2, 2007 at her residence.

She was born May 22, 1927 in Kewaskum to the late Oscar and Hattie (nee Vandeberg) Kocher, and married Thomas A. Austin on Sept. 2, 1944 in West Bend.

Thomas passed away on April 19, 1997.

She was employed at Amity Leather Products for 10 years before she and her husband owned and operated the Riverside Tavern and Austinís Club in West Bend until 1982.

Delores then worked at the Fireside Restaurant in Allenton for three years before working in the deli at Sentry Supersaver in West Bend for 11 years.

Delores enjoyed watching movies and had an extensive collection of Tiggerís from Winnie the Pooh.

She was involved for many yeats at Trinity Lutheran Church in West Bend.

Survivors include two children, Nancy (Matt) Mattice of Allenton and Dan (companion Linda Raasch) of West Bend; five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister, Jeanne (William) Ciriacks of Newburg and other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were a daughter, Lanette Austin; a granddaughter, Linda Bartelt; a great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Gross; a sister, Olive Saueressig; and two sisters-in-law, Delores Tock and Violet Rodenkirch.

Private inurnment will take place in Washington County Memorial Park, West Bend.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
